Aims: to provide an overview of the incidence and specific patterns of lung toxicity associated with immune-checkpoint inhibitors, molecular targeted agents and radiation used for lung cancer therapy; to cover a general discussion of the clinical presentation, pathogenesis, diagnosis, differential diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary toxicity associated with the use of antineoplastic agents; to provide a review of potential biomarkers that could guide our clinical reasoning in immune-related toxicities.
