Aims: To demonstrate the aspects of NMD patients’ needs to cough assistance and secretion clearance. To present the useful practical skills of cough assistance and secretion management in NMD, to be able to practice and perform the techniques and get strategies to adjust/modify treatment options for children with NMD or patients with bulbar dysfunction. To understand the essence of education of the patients and caregivers to home-based treatment and follow-up, using experiences from the pandemic.
