Abstract
Aim: To obtain clinical and morphological features of allergic rhinitis and bronchial asthma in patients of different ages depending on epidemiological data.Materials and methods: 2690 patients were examined. We conducted retrospective analysis of medical records, clinical examination and studied a range of causal and significant allergens. Morphological examination of the nasal mucous membranes and bronchial was performed using light and electron microscopy.Results: A retrospective analysis was performed all patients with bronchial asthma (BA) and allergic rhinitis. They were divided into groups by age: adolescents - 595, young men- 745, middle age - 973, aged - 377; by the form of asthma (68% atopic BA), according to the disease severity and comorbidity. Distribution on the severity of BA: mild - at 28.2%, moderate - in 48.4% and severe - at 23.4%. The analysis of indicators of teenage asthma which taped specifics of a reactivity of mucosas of respiratory tracts, an imbalance of production of cytokines and hormones and high extent of regeneration of mucosas after carrying out treatment in comparison with patients of other groups is submitted. In patients with more severe asthma was observed sensitization to allergens at the same time to different groups. In patients with asthma we found unique morphological changes in groups of patients had essential differences in cells of epithelium and microvessels of respiratory tract.Conclusion: Installed expressed morphological changes had a direct relationship to the severity of the disease. Clinical and morphological features between groups of patients demand the personified approach to therapy selection.
