Abstract

Aim of the study is investigate of expression levels of serum specific miRNA221 and miRNA222 as a biomarker in NSCLC.Thirty-two NSCLC cases and 30 healthy control cases that were diagnosed at Yedikule Chest Diseases and Chest Surgery, Training and Research Hospital were included in this study. In the study were used RT-PCR based miRNA (miR-qRT-PCR) detection methods. In NSCLC patients in accordance with control, miR221 and miR222 are expressed 1.46 and 1.63-fold, respectively, and while the difference of expression is statistically significant for miR221 (p:0.0001), significant difference did not be detected for miR222 (p:0.08)
