@Prof Sherwood: The workers are mainly of three categories. The melters who melt the pure as well as old gold to pure it, the manufacturers who manufacture the ornament (they do not cast rather design by hand) and the polishing staffs who polish the ornament for glaze and shine. During the manufacturing work, the workers use cadmium to solder gold (Cd is mainly used to reduce the charge of gold so that it can be soldered with another gold). And the polishing staffs are exposed to a highly concentrated sulfuric acid fume. There is electroplating, however the percentage is very low. The workers do not use cobalt although the use zinc, copper and bronze though during the work, they do not produce any fume.

I like the gold, but what do your wokers actually do. Is there any soldering, if so what with? Is there any electroplating, idf so any chrome? (this is more likely to cause problems than gold). Do you use cobalt?
