Abstract

Morbidity with recurrent bronchitis is one of the actual problems in pediatry. In the development of recurrent bronchitis a great role belongs to the liberators of both immune and nonimmune nature, including free radicals, aggressiveness of which increases in the lowering of antioxidation defense and may promote Th1-Th2 balance displacement to the side of Th2. We are revealing of these changes in children with recurrent bronchitis not only at the period of exacerbation, but also at the remission period demands carrying on prolonged rehabilitative measures. Our work is designed to study the immunity state, oxidant-antioxidant system in children with recurrent bronchitis at the remission period and their correction on the stage of sanatorium treatment. To solve this task we `investigated 47 children with recurrent bronchitis aged from 3 to 6 years at the remission period in sanatorium ²Opushki²: the level of dien conjugates, malone dialdehide, derivatives of 2,4 dinitrophenilhydrazone, catalase, general antioxidation ability of serum in dynamics, CD3, CD4, CD8, IgA, IgM, IgG in blood serum, circulating immune complexes (CIC), nonspecific immunity (by NST test spontaneous and stimulated). Increase of the intensity of oxidation processes, CIC, IgG and decrease of antioxidation defense, CD3, CD4, CD8 and NST stimulated (NST st.). On discharge the indexes of oxidation processes and CIC were reduced, but CD3, CD4, CD8 and NST increased, however they reached control values only in children, getting bilogically active addition ¿Bipolan¿.
Therefore, children with recurrent bronchitis need carrying on prolonged rehabilitative measures, which have a high efficiency in the healing of children with recurrent bronchitis under conditions of sanatorium. It is advisable to include to the complex of these rehabilitative measures biologically active addition ²Bipolan², elaborated by the Crimea scientists.
