Chairs: E. Millqvist (Skovde, Sweden), P. Dicpinigaitis (New York, United States of America)
Aims: to describe the latest thinking regarding aetiology, investigation and therapy in patients suffering from chronic cough; to discuss the paradigm shift of viewing chronic cough as a disease in its own right, characterised by cough hypersensitivity, with different phenotypes that give rise to different treatable traits allows a more rational approach to this condition.
