Aims: The aims of this symposium are to answer the following questions: what the definitions and diagnostic criteria of airway malacia are; how we differentiate airway malacia from asthma in pre-school children; what the epidemiology and prognosis of the primary airway malacia is; what the management options in children with airway malacia are; and what is the role of common asthma drugs in children with malacia with or without asthma?
