PG4 How to build an experimental animal lung lab

Postgraduate Course
Chairs: M. Kolb (Hamilton, Canada), G. Lungarella (Siena, Italy)
Aims: Small laboratory animals are increasingly used in pulmonary research. This course will teach essential methods for conducting lung-related experiments in these species. The faculty will emphasise the clinical relevance and the translational aspects of the experimental work. This course is for scientists who wish to devise their own experiments, as well as, for clinicians who want to gain a better understanding of the clinical relevance of small animal experiments.
