PG8 How to encourage compliance with therapy

Postgraduate Course
Chairs: F. Pitta (Londrina, Brazil), D. Langer (Ontario, Canada)
Aims: This course will help clinicians and researchers to guide patients to make the transition from interventions into real life behaviour change. This is the key to long-term effectiveness of interventions. There is a host of innovative studies emerging but yet very few health-care providers have acquired the communication skills to guide their patients towards behaviour change.
HERMES LINKS
ADULT: E.1 Treatment modalities and prevention measures, F. Core generic abilities.
