To help clinicians to confidently manage all tuberculosis patients with the aim of achieving tuberculosis elimination in Europe and elsewhere; to help clinicians treat tuberculosis in patients with whom failure of treatment or adherence could result in drug resistance; and to address concerns regarding heart rate-corrected QT interval (QTc) prolongation with current second-line drugs.
