Aims: The aims of the session are to review the state-of-art research on deep phenotyping techniques; describe how deep phenotyping can improve treatment outcomes in childhood asthma; discuss the value of deep phenotyping in clinical practice; and stimulate collaboration between clinicians and basic researchers in this field.
