Aims: To update the audience about the impact of global climate change and air pollution on cardiopulmonary health, and to discuss various aspects regarding this subject. At the end of the symposium, the audience will be aware of the current status of global climate change variables; their interactions with air pollutants and aeroallergens; their cardiopulmonary impacts; how basic research workers can become more involved in addressing cardiopulmonary health issues associated with global climate change; and related factors on cardiopulmonary health and about tools to address climate change in the treatment of patients and those suffer from it directly and indirectly.
