Obstructive sleep apnea syndrome and metabolic syndrome x
How does your finding of 58% prevalence of metabolic syndrome in OSAS compare to the general population and in non-OSAS population. I think we need to know this factor for us to conclude that there is a positive correlation. The second issue is that your study is done on a small polulation and we need larger population observation studies. Does race matter in this case? Dr L Chishimba UK
