Very interesting presentation. Very bold and sincere in expressing that experts dont talk to each other. I have had an opportunity to work up few patients with a similar problem. There are some anecdotal reports mentioning about laryngeal nerve hypersensitivity that is triggered off following exposure to viral infections or excessive pollution. Patients become hypersensitive to lot of things. Perhaps it is worth giving a trial of a course of anticholinergics or Gabapentin to calm the nerves.
