High-priority questions on airway infections in diseases seen in children and adults

Aims: The audience will learn about new therapeutic possibilities with special emphasis on four diseases that most of the paediatric and adult pulmonologists meet in daily practice.
After the symposium the audience will:
- be updated on paediatric aspects of tuberculosis, including current guidelines for treatment and prevention
- get an insight into antibiotic therapies for infections seen in cystic fibrosis
- discuss alternative therapeutic options for bacterial infections in asthma
- have a better understanding on MRSA, therapeutic aspects, risks and prevention.
