Aims: To correlate clinical findings with radiological and pathological findings in pleural, interstitial and bronchiolar diseases. To discuss a systematic approach of interpreting chest images in the intensive care unit. To present an algorithmic approach to diagnosing clinical entities being described, whenever possible.
