Aims: To provide an overview of the role of pathology and its techniques in the diagnosis and choice of treatment in lung diseases. In particular, this course will help the pulmonary clinician to understand reports from pathology and get an update on novel techniques in pathology (including molecular pathology) that will support clinical decisions.
