Aims: At the end of the symposium the audience will know about the following:
- the different indications and results of pulmonary rehabilitation programmes in various categories of patients with chronic respiratory failure;
- possible mechanisms and remedies for chronic respiratory failure as a factor complicating pulmonary rehabilitation, including oxygen or mechanical ventilation aid during pulmonary rehabilitation.
