The main target audience are trainees in respiratory medicine and young doctors.
Educational aims
The aim of this web-based course is to update the participants on influenza by addressing the following topics:
epidemiology of annual influenza
economic burden at societal level
differential diagnosis of influenza in relation to other infections of the respiratory tract
clinical diagnosis vs laboratory-confirmed diagnosis
vaccine safety, efficacy and effectiveness
pandemic influenza
