PG22 - Interventional bronchoscopy: theory and practice

Postgraduate Course
Chairs: F. Herth (Heidelberg, Germany), J. Janssen (Nijmegen, The Netherlands)
Aims: The main aim of this course is to expose pulmonary fellows and practising pulmonary physicians to advanced, yet simple, practical pulmonary interventions. Didactic lectures will be followed by practical demonstrations and possibilities for hands-on experiences. At the conclusion of this course, participants will be able to recognise indications and contra-indications of various interventions, identify benefits and limitations of these interventions, and will have experienced a first hands-on training tutored by world experts in the field.
