Aims: This is the second course in a three-year postgraduate core curriculum that will provide a comprehensive overview of the most important areas in interstitial lung disease. This module will provide a detailed update on sarcoidosis, occupational ILD and ILD in systemic disorders. The aims of the module are:
• to provide knowledge on the current management of sarcoidosis;
• to demonstrate that recognition of potential exposures at home, in the workplace and in the natural environment is crucial for the individual patient?s management and prognosis;
• to show that the spectrum of drug-induced interstitial lung disease (ILD) has undergone changes in recent years;
• to describe the current way to diagnose and manage patients with systemic disorders and lung involvement.
