PG4 Imaging of the chest

Aims: To provide a review of the various patterns on (high-resolution) computed tomography (CT) chest, of positron emission tomography (PET)/CT, of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) as well as ultrasound in imaging of various lung diseases; and to provide basic guidelines for the differential diagnosis of and an algorithmic approach to various lung and pleura pathologies on the basis of clinical history and distribution as well as the presence of associated abnormalities.
