Aims: The aims of this symposium are to:
- Give insights into the new pharmacological treatment for venous thromboembolism;
- Clarify the possible link between pulmonary embolism and chronic pulmonary hypertension; and,
- Identify possible new therapeutic approaches for venous thromboembolism.
