Educational aims

Following the course participants will be able to:

• Improve their knowledge on epidemiology, pathophysiology and causes of NCFBE
• Be able to prescribe microbiological investigations and other diagnostic techniques in patients with bronchiectasis
• Have the knowledge in order to evaluate microbiological findings in NCFBE patients
• Be able to define strategies for eradication and long-term oral and nebulised antibiotic therapy in NCFBE patients
• Improve their skills on chest physiotherapy, pulmonary rehabilitation and patient education
• Improve their management of an exacerbation of NCFBE
