Highlights from ESCAPE

Symposium
Chairs: B. Brunekreef (Utrecht, Netherlands), T. Sigsgaard (Aarhus, Denmark)
Aims: The aim of this symposium is to present new insights into concentration-response functions for urban air pollution, in particular traffic-related pollution across a wide range of cohorts and health endpoints in Europe. The findings will be of key policy-relevance as air quality standards in the European Union are subject to revision in 2012/13. The ERS adopted 'Ten Principles for Clean Air' in 2011.
