Paediatric lung function today

Symposium
Chairs: S. Lone Latif (Amsterdam, Netherlands), J. Makonga-Braaksma (Woudenberg, Netherlands)
Aims: This symposium will update the audience about new and developing measurements of lung function in children. There is a wide variation in the delivery of lung function services to children across Europe, where some centres are purely paediatric , many centres are adult testing services being asked to test children. This session will outline the state-of-the-art of paediatric lung function testing and highlight areas of difficult service provision. Two novel techniques will be explored to show the potential of new technology: FeNO and LCI.
