From chronic lung diseases in childhood to COPD

Symposium
Chairs: L. Zimmermann (Maastricht, Netherlands), K. Bohlin (Alvsjö, Sweden)
Aims: This symposium will give an overview on:
- lung development and the influence of premature birth on it;
- chronic lung disease (CLD) of prematurity;
- long-term respiratory effects.
This symposium also will try to answer the question of whether CLD is the new COPD.
