Aims: This course will provide participants with an update on the indications for noninvasive ventilation (NIV) and on technical aspects of the procedure. At the conclusion of this course, the participants will understand the new indications for, and the limits of, noninvasive ventilation, the new technological developments and the ?human? skill needed to ventilate patients in difficult situations.
