Aims: This course will provide participants with an update on the therapeutic options for the most common interstitial lung diseases. The limitations of current treatments for patients with sarcoidosis and pulmonary fibrosis will be discussed, and new developments in therapeutic approaches will be described. In addition, recent evidence supporting a role for antioxidant treatment in interstitial lung diseases and the benefit of pulmonary rehabilitation programmes will be presented.
