Aims: This course will provide participants with an update on research and clinical applications of non- or minimally invasive methodologies to assess pathobiological markers in lung and airway disorders. New and older methodologies will be reviewed, current laboratory and clinical standards will be specified, and advances in research and clinical applications will be described.
