ERS COPD exacerbation guidelines: methodologies and overview

Aims: An introduction to the methodology of producing guidelines: forming the questions, searching, selecting and evaluating studies. This symposium will provide information on the practicalities of applying to produce ERS guidelines/consensus documents/technology reports, information on the experience gained with using GRADE methodology for guidelines, and an update on the ERS exacerbation guidelines with respect to the three work packages (short 10 minute updates from each work package leader).
