Aims: During the last five years, an incredible advance has been witnessed in the management of pulmonary vascular diseases, with the development of new therapeutical strategies and also new treatment modalities. Along with this rapidly changing scenario, there are many special questions that need to be better addressed. The aim of this joint symposium is to highlight the existing data regarding this questions, pointing out the research perspectives for the near future.
