PG10 - The management of tuberculosis: tradition and novelties

Postgraduate Course
Chairs: G. Migliori (Tradate, Italy), L. Casali (Terni, Italy)
Aims: For many years, we have adopted the standardised treatment of tuberculosis (TB), putting together comparable results from many countries. On this basis, it may be useful to focus the various aspects of this kind of treatment according to different realities. This course will provide new insights into:
• the treatment of pulmonary TB;
• the management of difficult-to-treat extrapulmonary TB;
• multi-drug resistant (MDR)-TB.
