The next generation of lung function tests

Symposium
Chairs: Peter Sterk (Amsterdam, Netherlands), Waldemar Tomalak (Rabka-Zdroj, Poland)
Aims: To provide an overview of the development and possibilities of breath analysis tests, the new technologies that are available (monitoring VOCs in asthma and COPD during the daily lung function routine), the roles that FeNO and exhaled breath temperature play among the other lung function tests and how these new techniques will be integrated practically into the existing technology.
Target audience: Clinicians, nurses, respiratory function technologists, scientists, and physiologists.
