PF ELF/ERS session:Improving adherence and outcomes in pulmonary rehabilitation

Aims: This forum will explore how professionals can improve their healthcare outcomes by incorporating the patient's experience. This session will discuss the barriers that can arise when referring patients to enrol and complete a programme of pulmonary rehabilitation in primary and tertiary care settings. This interactive session, which will be led by a patient and a professional, will demonstrate how open professional-patient dialogue can help improve the practical problems experienced by patients receiving treatment.
Target audience: Pulmonologists, respiratory therapists, respiratory physicians, clinical researchers, general practitioners, research fellows, basic scientists, paediatricians, nurses, trainees and allied health professionals.
