Metabolic alterations in lung ageing and disease

Aims: to highlight the roles of metabolic alterations in lung aging and disease at the organismal and cellular levels. This will be achieved by explaining how metabolic alterations influence pathophysiology and by discussing why they may have potential for therapeutic targeting.
