Aims: to describe and explore/review: 1) the role of positive airway pressure (continuous positive airway pressure CPAP/bilevel positive airway pressure BIPAP) in patients with combined heart failure and sleep apnoea; 2) the combining physiology and imaging in the diagnosis of pulmonary hypertension, 3) the novelty of the 2019 ESC/ERS guidelines for the management of pulmonary embolism, and 4) the impact of guidelines for the management of pulmonary embolism in clinical practice
