Sleep-disordered breathing and cardiovascular disease: still an open problem

Aims: Results of studies on CPAP as secondary cardiovascular prevention in OSA patients have been discouraging. The frequent association of OSA with cardiovascular disease is clinically important, and will be re-examined in this session with special attention to the latest research.
