Aims: to provide an update on multidisciplinary approaches for diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer; to discuss recent advances in cancer genomics, targeted therapies, immunotherapy, surgical treatment of oligometastatic disease, video-assisted thoracic surgery after induction treatment and concomitant radiotherapy.
