The impact of urbanisation in asthma and allergy among children and adults

Aims: This session will provide an update on rural-urban differences in the prevalence of asthma, rhinitis and allergic sensitisation, as well as risk factors that contribute to rural-urban differences, including preventable risk factors. Hypotheses of the mechanisms behind these findings will be presented.
