Aims: To inform congress participants from all over the world about the significant progress in Medicine achieved by Viennese scientists and medical doctors in the 18th, 19th and 20th century.
To unravel the circumstances of the enormous drawback because of the huge emigration wave of most of the medical intelligence during the Nazi regime.
To give an overview about the steady improvements in scientific and medical quality achieved by the Viennese medical community over the last decades.
