Aims: Recently, there has been increasing evidence that lung disease may cause secondary neuronal reorganisation and that such reorganisation may influence clinical outcomes. Conversely, recent advances in diagnosis and therapeutics are promoting an increase in the recognition of the respiratory consequences of neurological disease. The aim of this session is to unite those working at the interface between respiratory and neurological control systems.
