Aims: The aim of this course is to introduce basic principles of study design, methods and presentation of results, with special reference to the problems of growth, irregularity of longitudinal data and lack of reference values. At the end of the course the participants should be able to select the appropriate study design for a given research project. They should also be able to present and interpret results of their research in an appropriate manner.
