PG1 - Basics in chest imaging - principles, interpretation and indications

Postgraduate Course

Aims: This is the first course in a three-year postgraduate core curriculum covering the main issues on basics in imaging. The aims of this first module in the series are:
• to review the radiological features of pulmonary pathologies in a format relevant to the pneumologist;
• to review basic principles of the available techniques for imaging the lung;
• to propose diagnostic algorithms for the work-up of pulmonary pathologies;
• to enhance the clinician´s capacities in clinical decision-making.
