Lunchtime programme: of mice, man and cell cultures - discussing different approaches in experimental lung research

Aims: During this lunchtime session a series of presentations will introduce the listeners to up-to-date concepts of translational medicine in the field of asthma, COPD, and pulmoary infections. The presenters will give examples of pre-clinical models and explain how results from these models can be used to obtain insight into the pathogenesis of lung disease and to discover drugs.
