To give the multidisciplinary team managing a respiratory epidemic or pandemic an educational update on the topic, tools for planning and management, and then enable them to participate in an escalating pandemic scenario to improve their skills and communication. To reflect on how plans can be individualised to participants’ countries, and how management may change depending on the organism and population involved.
