Aims: The aims of this symposium will be:
• to review and reconcile differences between countries and guidelines on the treatment of childhood asthma;
• to discuss new therapeutic approaches towards childhood asthma. This symposium has been organised jointly with the ATS paediatric assembly. Target audience: Paediatricians and chest physicians interested in childhood asthma.
