Aims: This symposium will:
• apply methods to optimize patient and personal safety during diagnostic and therapeutic bronchoscopy;
• apply methods to optimize patient and personal safety during medical thoracoscopy;
• determine measures to be undertaken to control transmission of infection in the pulmonary endoscopy suite. Target audience: Clinicians, pulmonologists, pulmonary fellows, thoracic surgeons, pediatricians, bronchocsopy staff.
