PG2 - Interventional pulmonology: theory and practice

Postgraduate Course

Aims: The main aim of this course is to expose pulmonary fellows and practicing pulmonary physicians to advanced, yet simple practical pulmonary interventions. Didactic lectures will be followed by practical demonstrations and there are possibilities for hands-on experiences. At the end of this course, participants will:
• be able to recognize indications and contra-indications of various interventions;
• be able to identify benefits and limitations of these interventions;
• have experienced first-hand, hands-on training tutored by world experts in the field. Target audience: Pulmonary fellows, pulmonary physicians, thoracic surgeons.
